The Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation Life Sciences Innovation Forum along with the US. Food and Drug Administration, the US Department of Commerce, together with Singapore’s Health Sciences Authority and the US-ASEAN Business Council invite you to the second of a series of seminars to enhance international awareness of the public health and economic dangers of trade in counterfeit medical products, and to maintain the integrity of the pharmaceutical products and medical devices supply chain.
 

The Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation Life Sciences Innovation Forum along with the US Food and Drug Administration, the US Department of Commerce, together with Health Sciences Authority of Singapore and the US-ASEAN Business Council invite you to the second of a series of seminars to enhance international awareness of the public health and economic dangers of trade in counterfeit medical products, and to maintain the integrity of the pharmaceutical products and medical devices supply chain. The first two-day session of this series of seminars, was held from January 13 to 15, 2008 in Singapore. The second seminar will be held March 30 to April 1, also in Singapore. These two seminars are intended as a train-the-trainer activity, giving regulatory authorities, customs and law enforcement officials, and other stakeholders the tools both to perform training exercises in their local economies and regions throughout Asia and to enhance societal awareness of the hazards of counterfeit pharmaceuticals and medical devices.
